About Us
Kool Kids Daycare & Preschool, Inc. is a Reggio inspired child care and early education program conveniently located near the 5 freeway, 10 freeway, and 60 freeway in the City of East Los Angeles, CA. We were established in 2005 and proudly serve the communities of Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, Commerce, and Montebello, CA. We are licensed to care for children ages 0 to 12 years old. We currently accept private families and families contracted with MAOF, IILA, DCFS, CALWORKS, GAIN, and BRIDGE program. We are currently enrolling children ages 1-5 for our preschool program and children ages 6-12 for our school age program. In addition, we offer two shifts to better serve our community. We offer a day care program and also an evening care program for parents who work or go to school during non-traditional hours.

At Kool Kids Daycare & Preschool, Inc., we highlight the idea that children learn
through play! We believe children are curious, strong, intelligent, and capable of
actively participating in their own learning. Additionally, we believe every child deserves
the right to receive a high-quality education in a safe, age-appropriate environment. We
believe children are worthy of caring teachers who provide them with exceptional care,
respect, love, and stability. As a result, this will give them the opportunity to grow to
their fullest potential! Our goal is to provide the children in our community with all the
tools necessary to help build the solid foundation needed for future success! For this reason,
our program is designed to promote growth in children's cognitive, social/emotional,
language, fine motor, and gross motor development. All while focusing on family,
culture, diversity, community, school readiness, creativity, self-regulation,
conflict-resolution, respect for others, building friendships, independence, confidence,
and self-love.
Our Programs
PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
Ages 1-5
Our dual language (English & Spanish) preschool program is designed to provide an enriched developmental curriculum that will foster children’s dispositions to be curious and involved learners. Additionally, our environment was created to allow children to actively participate in their own learning by providing the tools necessary to help build their knowledge of the world around them. Furthermore, we focus on the whole child approach to teaching which supports and nurtures all areas of children’s development and learning. Moreover, we provide organic, home-cooked meals to help keep their bodies healthy and minds sharp!
SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM
Ages 6-12
Our dual language (English & Spanish) school-age program is designed to meet your child's unique needs in a safe, structured, and well supervised, home-like setting. We focus on fostering positive child-adult relationships, healthy peer connections, and academic advancement. We offer before and after-school care and transportation to and from nearby LAUSD and Charter schools. In addition, we provide nutritious, home-cooked organic meals, homework assistance, outdoor activities, and art classes.
